Dan Finnegan is a multifaceted, self-taught, singer/songwriter from the Pennsylvania area who has been inspired by artists such as: The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Who, Fleetwood Mac, David Bowie, Billy Joel, Sting, Tom Petty, Mozart, Beethoven  and the list goes on. Diversity is something Dan really favors, when exploring different genres and he tries to keep a fresh perspective on what he may be attempting to create.

Starting out from the small town of McKees Rocks on the west side of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, he was 14 years old, when Dan's uncle taught him a few basic chords on guitar. Learning initially how to play old Irish Folk songs from the likes of the Clancy Brothers, Dan not long afterwards, started picking out Beatles songs by ear . He eventually learned the entire catalog and pressed on to learning Beach Boys songs and how Brian Wilson arranged his harmonies. Now, teaching himself piano and bass as well as learning how to multitrack record, Dan fell in love with the studio production and began writing his own material and has become a fairly proficient recording artist!

In his early to mid twenties he began playing with several Cover Bands, Classic Rock bands, Original, Pop and New Wave bands from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia and has done Duos and Solo gigs as well. Relocating to the Harrisburg area, Dan has continued recording original songs as well as collaborating with many other local artists in Pennsylvania from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia. Also, Dan has worked with well-known local artist from Pittsburgh,  Pete Hewlett , a world class vocalist who has toured with Billy Joel since the 80's, and had the privelage of sharing the stage with Sir Paul McCartney for the Last Play At Shea Stadium in 2010.  Dan also had the good fortune of meeting Brian Wilson twice, and was behind stage with him through his entire performance in Hershey, Pa. when he did his 2001 Pet Sounds Tour which also featured Paul Simon. He also had the opportunity to meet the Beatles' original drummer Pete Best in Liverpool, Pa. ironically, (yes, there is such a place), in2008.

    - Inspired by many different influences, and now residing in Harrisburg, Pa; Dan has taken his turn at Vocals, Piano/Keyboards, Guitar and Bass playing across Pennsylvania from Pittsburgh (where he originates from), to Philadelphia. He has also become proficient at studio recording and does a lot of home studio work himself. His original songs such as the beautiful piano ballads "Leslie" and "There She Goes" ,the Beatlesque "Bring Me Home" and Beach Boys reminiscient "On My Way" and "What Happens To Love" ,as well as an original christmas tune "Keeep Your Spirits Up For Xmas" shows the complexity of harmonies and chord structure that Dan so often uses in his songwriting.
